SOUTH FLORIDA NATIONAL PARKS TRUST
The South Florida National Parks Trust was founded in 2002 to improve the quality of life in South Florida by supporting the national parks that define our landscape and enrich our culture:
Everglades National Park Dry Tortugas National Park
Biscayne National Park Big Cypress National Preserve
The Trust is working to ensure that more people – especially children – have an opportunity to experience these remarkable places and learn about the resources these parks protect.
The Trust relies on the generous support of individuals, corporations and foundations to accomplish its mission. Support South Florida’s national parks by making a donation today!

Hurricane Irma: Images and Updates
from South Florida’s National Parks
Hurricane Irma swept through South Florida’s national parks on Sunday September 10 leaving a trail of toppled trees, damaged docks and battered buildings in her wake. The SFNPT will be working with our NPS partners in the weeks ahead to support recovery efforts in all four South Florida parks. For now, the parks remained closed, as emergency crews work to secure buildings, clear debris and complete damage assessments. For updates, visit the National Park Service
website and our Facebook page
where we’ve posted more images like the pictures below.
